White Oak Estates

White Oak Estates is a Continuing Care Retirement Center conveniently located within a short drive from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and Mary Black Hospital.  Our 88 bed nursing center provides long term nursing care, as well as short term rehabilitation.  Additionally, we offer independent apartment living, assisted living, and an on campus wellness center.

Nursing care is provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.  Our interdisciplinary team develops an appropriate plan of care for each individual in coordination with the physician’s orders.  The service of White Oak Estates is more than caring for immediate physical or medical needs.  Through understanding, compassion, professionalism and respect, we strive to enhance the quality of life for each individual.

Emma Bowers

Administrator

Emma was born and raised in Johnson City, Tennessee and graduated from ETSU with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Administration and a minor in Social Work. She is an accomplished track & field athlete and was named the 2008 Southern Conference Freshman of the Year and won the 2009 Women’s Southern Conference Championship. She also ran track in high school and won 3 state championships.

Emma began her career in healthcare at 18 years old when she began working as an Activity Assistant. She later earned her CNA license and has worked in housekeeping as well. In 2016 Emma moved to Greenville, SC and earned her South Carolina Administrator’s License and became the administrator at White Oak Estates in 2023. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, being outside, and running and exercising.

BARNET PARK

Barnet Park is Spartanburg’s premier outdoor concert and special events venue. It plays host to dozens of events each year, from performances by national recording artists to family reunions and company picnics. It contains the Zimmerli Amphitheater, a 2-mile paved walking trail, local art sculptures, and an interactive water fountain.
